Spiced Pan Toasted Almonds
Full of healthy monounsaturated fats that effectively lower LDL-levels, these delicious pan toasted almonds will keep your taste-buds satisfied and keep your heart healthy.
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 ½ almonds shelled and peeled
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- Heat a frying pan over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium- high and add the olive and almonds. Shake the pan often to keep the nuts from burning. Toast the almonds until golden brown.
- Once the almonds are golden, turn the heat off and add the chili and seat salt.
- Toss and serve. The almonds may be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
